HISTORIC PRESERVATION WEEK 2023 “Equity & Inclusion: The Narrative of Knowing”

October 23rd-26th Join us in celebrating the 4th Annual Historic Preservation Week!

Historic Preservation Week affords the opportunity to share knowledge, increase understanding and allow open dialogue for Atlantans to learn more about ourselves and our city.

Historic Preservation Week made its debut during the pandemic in October 2020 with a kickoff of our Future Places Project, a virtual tour of South View Cemetery, a technical workshop on what makes a building historic, and a preservation talk on racial equity in historic preservation.

Each year we strive to offer engaging, educational, and stimulating preservation content in a variety of formats including the addition of a Parks Tour.

We look forward to your presence at one or all of this year’s planned activities!

In the meantime, join our mailing list by sending a message to historicpreservation@atlantaga.gov.
